This is about the fifth annual JR Indoor RC Festival, which since the start has been held at the Four Seasons Golf Facility in Columbus, Ohio. As a point of reference I filed a very detailed report on last years Festival that appeared in the December 2006 RC MICRO WORLD. I recommend that you go back over that report, since a lot of background detail presented then, will not be repeated in this current report.
The inflated dome that is the indoor flying site measures 330 feet across by 270 feet deep with a maximum height in the center of 100 feet. This event is always held the first weekend in November, but there was an added bonus this year. The usual Saturday/Sunday event was expanded to include Friday, making it a three-day affair. Terry Nitsch and his group of local Columbus friends run this wonderful event that is primarily sponsored by JR (Horizon Hobby) along with many other industry members.
