Coming next month, Bob Aberle's 100 sq inch Kitten

This year is really moving fast. Seems like only yesterday that we were celebrating Christmas. Maybe it’s because I’m in a time warp, caused by the fact that I have been in the hospital four times since November! Why four times? It’s a blood problem. When I came home from the KIEF event in Pennsylvania last October, I was very weak and tired.  My doctor did a blood check and when the results came back I was immediately hospitalized.

While there they did all kinds of tests then pumped a bunch of new blood in me. That got me functioning normally again, but not for long. A month I was back in the hospital for more tests and more blood. That got me through Christmas, but in January it was the same thing all over again. February was a repeat of the previous months.

So now it’s March but with a different twist—I can get new blood on an out-patient basis at a nearby clinic; no need to spend days in the hospital. In between these ups and downs I have managed to keep on with getting RC Micro World out each month, mostly through a lot of help from our new Executive Editor, Roland Friestad.

Roland has not only made up for my lack of full time input, he was able to explore different formats for article presentations and overall magazine appearance. With feedback from our subscribers we are working out the details of what works best, looks good, and pleases the most subscribers. It’s all part of upgrading RCMW and offering more value.

An increasing use of quick links to other websites and videos to put “life” into illustrations, to greatly expand the information provided, has been well received and will be continued. It’s all part of a more dynamic presentation of what we’re all about. We trust that the experimentation is appreciated toward the goal of a more interesting and more informative monthly experience.
