Coming next month, Bob Aberle's BRIGADIER -- article was not ready for this month

Exciting developments are still happening in our micro RC world, as can be seen by the list of subjects for this month’s index of articles. When we started our monthly online publication 5 years ago we wondered whether we might soon run out of things to report on. But we soon found that this was not a problem—the basic technology involved kept developing new products and techniques to tell about.

Also, more people kept joining those previously involved. A big factor has been that the cost of getting involved has gotten cheaper. Example: many ready to fly 3 or more channel model aircraft being marketed for the activity. Furthermore, an old bothersome factor has practically been eliminated, that of worrying about radio interference between models operating on different frequencies.

Another factor has been that many of the ready to fly models have been used to provide components (motors, props, receivers, actuators, batteries, etc.,) which are easily installed in other models. This has spurred the building and flying of original design models, or modified versions of other models, because it assures that proven combinations of component choices are easily and cheaply available.

We think, too, that RC Micro World and other websites, plus online catalogs from micro rc suppliers, is having a big effect on getting more people to see what we’re all about. Significant in all this is that new developments keep happening and everybody is eager to know what’s new and where to get it. RC Micro World has been credited with being a prime source such information.

Our monthly online magazine of that name is subscribed to by hundreds of enthusiasts in dozens of countries. If you are not a current subscriber, it’s easy to sign up, by clicking on the link below to see the options.
